In one high profile case a would-be father tried and failed to get an injunction to prevent his girlfriend having an abortion: fathers have no rights one way or the other until a child is born. At that stage you can expect to hear from the Child Maintenance Service, but you will have the right to apply for parental responsibility and contact, or even for the child to live with you.
